Geoff Partridge Competition 2014
Here they are at the start of another year and the competitions have started. The first of the year is the Geoff Partridge Memorial Competition held at Aldersley, Wolverhampton. This is a good match attended by many highly ranked shooting athletes from Great Britain. It is a match that is held under ISSF rules.
The match went very well for all four of the Bale athletes with the youngest Emily, back on form again shooting a new match personal best of 384 ex400. Philippa shot pistol, just changing hands form left to right only in December. For Philippa this is such a major change that her performance in this first competition shooting right handed was excellent.
Jack’s performance was outstanding; he won N.I.S.C top junior rifle shooter. He also won 1st place in Class A in the N.I.S.C. Open. His first match saw Jack get into the final and his second match he obtained a new match personal best of 589 ex600. Both matches saw Jack taking 1st place in Class A in the Aggregate as well.
